Sugar in My Grits: {Pinning!} Sacrifice

For this week's {Pinning!} post I was originally planning on sharing my favorite Red, White, & Blue pins. However, at my house, Memorial Day is a day that we tend to simply "make it through". Do not get me wrong, I understand the reason behind the day. But see- my family constantly live with the ghosts of those who were once here before giving their lives. My husband, especially, lives with the memories of friends lost. Today may be a so-called "holiday" to celebrate these fearless people but for us- it's a day like no other. A day we personally remember Sgt Dan Frazier, SSG John Cleaver, & the many others who we have lost in the past few years.
