Hopefully this post finds everyone having a pretty good week. As for me- I'm doing alright. Been feeling kind of under the weather & not sure why. I'm afraid it's a side effect of my medication. Sure I'm less anxious/angry but yeah... I can't stand this unmotivated crap. Especially with 2 little kiddos that are constantly on the go. So yeah: looks like there's a doctor's appointment in my near future. But anywho~ moving on.
His personality guarantees it.
[1] He's obsessed with talking. Maybe it was because he was a later talker but let me tell you- this boy can talk non-stop for hours. As tiresome as it is sometimes, I wouldn't trade it for anything.
[2] Purple Flintstone Vitamins are his fav.
[3] The first song he ever sung was the theme song from 'Two and a Half Men'. And though we haven't watched the show lately {due to re-runs} he still breaks out singing it from time to time.
[4] His favorite people in the world are his 'ReRe' {my sister} & his Bubba {Logan}. Sometimes I even think he'd leave me to live with his Aunt ReRe if given the chance.
[5] Part of his DNA derives from monkeys. Yeah, he's a climber alright. Get's it from his daddy I guess. Though I have been known to climb quite a few trees in my younger life.
[6] He can't stand band-aids. Not even on his sister. Poor girl gets her immunizations & I'll be, if her brother doesn't remove the band-aids before we're even home.
[7] Loves helping Mommy around the house. He's such a great little helper {better than daddy most days} but then again- this little guy can also be mommy's worst enemy.
[8] He has his Momma's looks & Daddy's crazy/outgoing personality. For this I am thankful though {to an extent}. I'd never wish my shyness on anyone. Especially my own children.
[9] This child is seriously 2 {almost 3}, going on 30. I'm not really sure if it's a good thing or bad most days. I just hope it doesn't reverse as he closes in on the teenage years.
[10] I ask daily & he still refuses to get a haircut. If it we're winter then maybe I'd be alright with this but come on now... it's too hot for him to have such 'longer' hair. It's thick too.
[11] Sad to say but He can fit into his sister's {12 months} jeans. They're definitely too short but button & zip right up. They're not even tight. I swear I feed the kid. Promise.
[12] My toddler has a touch of OCD. At first I thought he was just copying me. But now I'm pretty convinced that he's Obsessive Compulsive. Just like momma.
[13] There's more money in his piggy bank than I have to my name. Well- actually he has money in two different piggy banks. Neither is full yet but they're getting there. He's doing good. Spoiled. {lol}
[14] If you haven't noticed already, He's a total camera hog.
[15] He slept alone until he turned One. And then he mysteriously stopped sleeping alone. We think it's because daddy came home & he didn't want to share me.

So so cute! Can't get over that picture of him in his sister's pants :) He looks like such a busy, wonderful, amazing little boy. And I totally believe he's going places!

What a cutie!!!
ReplyDeleteHe is such a handsome little man! My little guy will be 4 next month and I can't believe how fast time just flies right by. I wonder if the band-aid thing is a boy thing because my son does the same thing, he peels them right off and says "Mommy, can you throw this in the trash?" :) Thanks for sharing, I'm your newest follower and can't wait to read more.
ReplyDeleteHey. Dropping by from SITS...and you know..life.
ReplyDeleteBubbie is getting cuter and cuter. Love the pic of him and his dad. Happy Saturday!
He is so cute - and I love the list!
ReplyDeleteMind if I ask - how late of a talker was he? My boys 20 months and still not talking, which is later than either of my daughters. The doctor said it's not that unusual for boys to talk later. Anyway, just curious!
Visiting from SITS Sharefest.
I don't mind you asking at all. We actually took Bubbie for an evaluation because he was a VERY late talker. He turned 3 years today & did not start talking until a couple months ago. If not more recent than that. But once he started, hes progressed quickly. Its discouraging for them not to be talking {we naturally worry as moms} but hang in there- before long you'll be wanting him to hush for just a minute... lol. You may want to check out this post that I shared a while back before he started talking. Its more of an emotion post but still. It'll let you know you're not alone & looking back- I can tell you that it'll get better: http://mommiesblog2011.blogspot.com/2012/02/heart-break.html
